One thing I like about The Collector is that it’s implied they know that King is lying to them about Eda not being okay and him faking the reason for wanting Lilith un-puppeted. They’re spying on King talking to a FULLY NOT OWLBEAST EDA and their reaction isn’t “hey King lied to me!” It’s “see, he’s looking out for me!” Like yes all the forcing people to be puppets stuff is not okay, but they’re a primordial being that’s also a child and no real concept of death and others having their own wants and desires beyond playing. When they do learn that, they stop puppeting people.
