Alstom has been awarded the first โฌ69 million tranche of a โฌ214 million framework contract to deploy its ONVIA Control ETCS Level 2 signalling system as part of Queensland's The Wave program in Australia.
The project includes advanced digital train control technologies that will improve operational reliability, increase line capacity, and support a safer and more efficient railway network ahead of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
