I think they have a lot of fun at Hypegryph’s writing and illustration departments given the basis of some designs and Lowlight’s historic love for internet culture and memes, both local to him and more Western. There’s the Sacabambaspis in the Thorns event, which logically is entirely them having fun with the funny meme fish, but then you also have cases like Jessica, based on sad cat memes, and more surprisingly to me, Raidian, based on Birds With Arms memes, which is why she has an extra pair of arms.
