OKAY. I have learnt something new about MKX. I was doing a play test to see how screwed I might be going through the main story (I used to get my ass handed to me) and did some rounds as my usual mains (Kung Lao, Reptile, Scorpion, etc)... WHY DOES THIS GAME'S RAIDEN LOOK SO BAD BUT FUNCTION SO WELL?! OH MY GOD?! IM IN LOVE WITH THE WAY HE FIGHTS IN THIS GAME??
Like in MK9 (my starting point) he was okay to play as, not op, not weak, just in the middle. In MK11 he's... I'm sorry, he's hot but he's so slow. All the combos I have to memorize... in MKX he's like THE PERFECT MIX!! HE MOVES FAST, AND HE HITS HARD. YOU CAN MEMORIZE THE COMBOS IF YOU REALLY WANT TO, OR YOU CAN JUST MASH BUTTONS. FUNCTIONALLY, I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!!!
Granted, Raiden is my favorite character in the franchise, but MAN did they kind of fumble him functionally in MK11, imo.
