Double feature day!

For the next two days, i got Raiden and Floyd, which is a pair i actually found really fun since Raiden is the oldest mk character, debuting in 1992, while Floyd is the newest, debuting in January 2025!

Just fun little symmetry there!

So lorewise, Floyd has like… nothing going for him. He’s actually pretty much just… Chameleon in pink. He’s a secret male palette swap ninja who’s not given any sort of specific lore, while also being able to copy every male ninja’s special moves at will. Like… legitimately just Chameleon in pink. Especially with his skin being so grey in mk1, and his white eyes, it makes him look kinda like Khameleon who is the female counterpart to Chameleon. However, like i said, floyd is kinda just an enigma as of now.

Raiden doesnt need much of a lore dump as it you know MK you know the thundergod! Only real thing i can say about him is that i didnt care for his mk1 rework where he and Liu swapped roles. But tbf i can say that about aLOT of the changes in mk1’s story fbsjdbshs!!!

Super proud of Raiden’s pin, but i’m not the happiest with Floyd. Mostly because i struggled abit with translating his design. Those old school ninja costumes are just not the most enjoyable for me to work with haha!!!
