OCtober Day 25 - Course

It was a quiet evening, they just barely got back from work. For the both of them it had been exhausting, but they were lucky to not be injured from the whole ordeal.

As they rested on the couch they started to talk, trying to distract from the wave of tiredness. But it wasn't long till the conversation shifted course from just that, before they knew it.

They shared a kiss, the first one they had even with this long standing relationship. Only now, in this innocuous moment had they finally done so, and then, another and another. They soon moved to embrace each other until as they took moment to gasp air.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

OCtober Day 22 - Attract

It only took a bit longer after his first meeting with Morado for Iris to decide something. She had been spending more time over with him, so she simply called him over, and took out an eyeliner pen.

It was the same purple she used around her eyes.

"Ragno, I want to to give something to you."

"A... Are you sure?" Within the time, he had learned of this. But, wasn't it too early? He wasn't even part of their famiglia. Yet Iris nodded.

"I'm absolutely certain! I want you to have this. Now hold still It'd be really bad if you had to draw something I messed up every day"

He wants to ask more, he's still surprised. Did he really mean this much to her? How did he even manage to attract her like this? He was just doing as he always did. He knows he should have been asking those questions long before this, but it only now hit him how deep into this they've fallen. It had just been so easy to.

He tried to hold as still as he could, he's never had eyeliner put on, the feeling was foreign and strange. She then moved him to look at the mirror in the hall.

"What do you think?"

"it... looks nice? I've never worn any before. So"

"Well I could tell you were so stiff." she laughs covering her mouth.

"You told me to hold still!"

But instead of responding she clicks the cap over the eyeliner pen, and hands it to him. "This is yours now."

He nods, he'll have to learn to recreate this properly.

OCtober Day 20 - Limited

Ragno wasn't exactly sure what he was expecting when he was asked by Iris to meet her at the park. Saying that she'll explain what he wants to know now. What he didn't entirely expect was that she wasn't alone. A man taller than both of them with dark purple hair, red eyes, and notably, the same colour of eyeliner as her down to the exact shade stood beside her.

She waved at him as he approached. "Hiiii~ Sorry I didn't mention I'd be bringing my Uncle, but you do need to meet him if you want to know more."

He couldn't help but to be a little concerned. "Why is that?"

Her Uncle, as she had called him, spoke up. "Because the information you see is kept to a highly limited group. Thus, I need to see if you can be trusted. Luckily, Iris has vouched for you greatly."

"Th-that's good... Uh. Is there anything I need to do?" He was getting stressed out from this, what kind of Famiglia was this that it was this secretive.

"Nothing yet, say do you know of the Caleido Famiglia?" He furrows his eyebrows, the name sounds familiar... The most he knows about them is... Well they aren't known. All people really know is that they are assassins. But it's impossible to know if someone is connected to the Family. Then it begins to dawn on him as to why he is being asked that his eyes widen. He soon realizes around him, there are quite a few people, though in casual conversation, with this group together, it has become quite clear. they are likely members of said Famiglia.

Basilisco waves her hand a little bit. "Sorry for not saying but... Yeah. Don't worry about it too much okay? Morado is just intense."

Morado looks over at Iris for a moment, then back to Ragno. He also realizes, if Morado is the one to make the decision, he is likely very high up in the rungs. "I suppose I am. Though I am aware finding out about us is not as much of your main intention, so I not that concerned... Instead I hear you've taken interest in my Niece."

Ragno's tense feeling was immediately shattered as he was reminded about exactly why he had asked about this in the first place. He scrambled to pick up his words quickly. "Y-Yes, sir- That's... not a problem, right?"

He's... Not talked like this in a long time in response to someone.

OCtober Day 13 - Champagne

This time he had agreed to come here, not out of work, no he was long past that. But simply because Iris had invited him out. Though he was having a good time with her, she soon got a lot closer, grabbing him by the collar, and soon he realized what was happening... but he put his arm out.

"I.... Can't be doing this" He says with a warm face and a sigh.

"Oh, why not?" She still was somewhat smiley at it. "You know I'm not a light enough weight to be done under by a little bit of champagne."

"That's not what I'm referring to Iris, while we've been going out for a while... I don't actually know who you really are. I know nothing of you and you know so much about me." He points out, everything she is involved in he has no idea what it is. Clearly she has plenty of missions and such, but... He really doesn't actually know if he can trust her. He wants to, he really does. But he can't with what little information he has, and he should be smarter than this!

He watches as Iris frowns, and then nods. "No, that's fair... You know what I'll see what I can do. After tonight I'll be able to give you an answer next time I see you."

"Thank you..." With that, while they don't move forward on that, they do at least have a good rest of the night.

OCtober Day 12 - Straighten

Ragno was in his office with his brother discussing things. Mostly Hognose's work on the sciences while he himself did some paperwork to order some replacement weapons as he found some were not up to snuff.

It was during this conversation that he heard Hognose pause in his pacing behind him, he turns his head a bit to glance at the corner of his eye he sees that Hognose had straightened up, looking out the window for a moment before Hognose sighs in annoyance.

"What is it?" He asks, it could be Hognose seeing something out there, so he should just double check.

"Nothing real. It being there would be ridiculous." Hognose scoffs, giving Ragno the clarity of what that moment of processing was. His own face softens a little as he then asks.

"Can I know what it is?"

".... Yes. It is a very large blue spiny lobster in the middle of the road. Just sitting there." At that description he couldn't help but smile a bit.

"Well, I guess that would make sense that it got your attention, if i remember correctly you said those were from Australia"

"That is correct, in fact-" His older brother then began to go into detail about the species, and Ragno turned back to his work listening to the explanation.
