Hey, I took this cool culture/mythology/figure and used them as an inspiration for my fantasy world. I've reimagined these historic/mythological characters in a different setting and given them personalities based of the myths/to fit my story. I also used some words/concepts from religions/myths in my plot.
Things that do irritate me:
Hi! I took this super stereotyped version of a myth/religion/culture and used for my story. I did absolutely no research into this religion/historic culture beyond Wikipedia so I use all the names/characters/concepts based on my own preconceptions.
