So I kinda lied. @ w@. I didn't finish up and go to bed last night like I acted like I was going to. Some of you might have noticed already that the cursors have changed. The main cursor is while hovering over a link looks like . I played around with gifs and codes until I got it, sort of. The cursor will turn into a hand if hovering over certain links like the like button and images in a photo group Heehee, good enough. Please tell me if it doesn't work this way in your browser and which browser you are using!

Too little, too late...
After almost 8 months of searching, the room mate and I have finally found an apartment that we agree on. With first/last/pet deposit, we're looking at a pretty big chunk of change to move in there. We were hoping that our current apartment managers would pro-rate us for half of next month. They will have to do some drywall work in our bathroom before they can rent it out again anyway, so why not give them 2 weeks before the end of the month so it can be ready to rent by the first of July?
So, I go to talk to the managers today, and first off, she tells me that we're responsible for the entire month's rent. I know for a FACT that they can be flexible on that if they really wanted to. But then she has the NERVE to ask me to give her "time to resolve the (noise) issue."
About a month ago, I went to her to complain about the constant SCREAMING from the kids next door. She flat out told me that there was nothing she could do about it, since the offending neighbors are under Section 8 housing.
She was practically begging me not to move out. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that we're the only tenants who pay their rent on time and don't cause any problems. But I can't promise that I won't start eating children if we don't get the fuck outta here!
