some silly little doodles from a stream a couple days ago! all characters are from the lab 305 b/c shop on gaia online! eden (pink girl) is mine, rhedefre/cesc (pink boy) is @itsajollyhalladay‘s, cordelia (grey girl) is ebony shade’s (sry i don’t know ur tumblr--), dair (green boy) is @subobo‘s, lorin (yellow boy) is @pyxis-nautica‘s, and iorek (grey beefcake) is @alissacreno‘s!

Inspirations - Her original design was inspired by a costume design from a Chinese Wuxia show. Much later on I also realized it looks very much like a ballerina dress. So I decided to combine both elements into her Sigel design. Also was listening to so many classic chinese love ballads when I’m working on her to get the ‘feel’ for her; the tender, delicate, bittersweet feeling.

She’s based on a bat, a specific flying fox to be exact. I decided to give her grey hair because it’s a grey headed flying fox, and actually these type of bats have tiny cat-like ears instead of gigantic bat ears. (go google it up, it’s super cute!) The brown collar tuft is also from the bat’s design. The wings too, resemble a bat’s. In bat anatomy, the arms are the wings, hence I decided to make the wings look like arms. I was tempted to give her arm-wings like bats, but decided against it when Gaia released an item like that lmao. What can I say, I’m a rebel.
