A quick gasp escaped rosy lips as spectral hands so effortlessly drew the maiden closer, settling her against him after pressing a gentle kiss to her lips. Columbina was, in fact, expecting him to be asleep– Rerir had been lying down for awhile, and ever so often she approached out of curiosity to check on him.
Once, very quietly, she brushed aside dark bandages framing his face, wanting to see him properly one more time before leaving him be. One more time, now this last one, the goddess meant to approach and see if he's still resting, meeting with a playful answer to her doubts.
