No specific character was mentioned, so I get to talk about whoever I want… Which means I’m going to scroll through my OC list and choose someone I haven’t developed very deeply here on Tumblr and no one can stop me!

One of my funnier characters is Malynda, a kiddo so effervescent and enthusiastic about everything that everyone at school knows her (or at least knows of her). She goes by tons of different nicknames, however, so casual acquaintances sometimes find it difficult to talk about her amongst themselves. Having Carmen, Cynthia, and Emilio for older siblings means that some monikers are more inventive than others (Carmen’s favorite is ‘overgrown Lindor truffle’ while Cendy and Emi usually stick with ‘marrow bone’ after an incident that happened about 4 years back), but luckily their grandmother Consuelo has an uncanny knack for reining things in when her wards get too rambunctious or crude. All four of the kids have a keen sense of what is funny, but Lynda is the one most likely to cause a laughing epidemic through the house.Â
Lyndsey’s sense of humor often involves intentionally bad puns and oblique pop culture references obsolete enough people wonder how someone in high school could remember those things. She’s a huge fan of 80′s and 90′s nostalgia even though she never lived a day in the 20th Century: therefore, she can come across as eccentric to strangers and friends alike. Her girlfriend Raeen often has to remind Lyndz not to scare people away by aggressively rapping the theme song to the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air or constantly checking to see if her pager is going off. Emi still whines at their abuelita for giving ‘that Lindsay Lohan 2.0’ her old hospital pager once the batteries died and the ICU phased out their more antiquated technology. Lynda dreams of becoming a successful comedienne one day so that she can be invited to the White House for a presidential roast. Raeen usually points out that there are far better ways to leave a lasting impression in Washington, but it’s not like she wants to be too politically active.Â
