The device combined for measurement of ionizing radiation RKSB-104 is intended for individual use by the population for the purpose of control of radiation situation on the ground, in residential and working premises.
It functions as a dosimeter and a radiometer and provides a measurement:
- field equivalent dose rate of gamma radiation;
- flux density of beta radiation from the surface;
- specific activity of the cesium-137 radionuclide in substances;
- audible alarm when the threshold value of the equivalent dose rate of gamma radiation set by the consumer is exceeded.
