Mass producing circuit boards. New boxes coming soon!
The music for the boxes is based on a traditional song from Zimbabwe called Nhemamusasa. I learned it on vibraphone from transcriptions in Paul Berliner's The Soul of Mbira. I then recorded different variations of the basic accompaniment, cut them into loops, and processed and arranged the music in Ableton.
Above is a great recording of Nhemamusasa as it is traditionally played.

This is an iphone recording of three radio_rpl music boxes playing at once. The music was composed so that it is complete on its own and also sounds harmonious no matter how many boxes are playing, which track they're playing, or when the tracks are started in relation to each other.
Sure, you could put pictures of your loved ones or whatever, but look at the stocks!
