          it’s as though a switch has been flipped internally. as always, all it takes to return her to her scavenging, resourceful self is a crisis. she scans the land around them, soon going about plucking twigs that hide amidst the tall grass. night is coming, and considering the autumn chill that had set over the land late in the day of her arrival, a fire is without a doubt NECESSARY.
