Excellent update! I wasn't expecting a walkaround, but it certainly does explain the 2-month gap. I have got some bug reports, though: While it wasn't a wall that anyone got stuck in, I got Meenah stuck on the chest with Andrew in it, which prompted a game restart. Though, at the end, in the chase sequence (amazing job on that, by the way, I loved the text boxes at the bottom), John did get stuck on some stairs, and just kind of jostled around. I'll spare you the SBaHJ jokes. Oh, and... (1/2)
...while this isn't a getting-stuck-on-things issue, it seems you misspelled "EGG TIMER" to be missing one of the G's, in its item-get flavour text. In non-(but maybe potential?)-bug news, on my second try (re: Meenah getting stuck on chest), it seemed some treasures had changed?? I'm unsure if this was some last second editing, something to do with the floating John conversation (I had skipped it the second time around), or if it was just pure RNG, but I am curious about it nonetheless. (2/2)
Oh nooooo! getting stuck on stairs is exactly the thing that isn’t supposed to happen! It ruins the punchline! Thank you for the info - i think it should be fixed now, I will just have to do checks on browsers.
There isn’t any randomness in the game, but as Aranea warns you, by interacting more with stuff in the bubble, the items will get more john flavoured. (like the eg timer ;) ) Closing conversations early should not affect it though.
The meenah-stuck-until-talking-to-hussie thing is inherited from the orginal, iirc, but maybe it would be better to have the convo happen automatically? I will have to think about it.
Anyway, thanks for the report! Esp. catching the stairs thing!
Hey, I made some fan art for Supervoid. Also, I have one question; Is there a discord server for Supervoid? If there is one, I’d really like to join it!

( @mantis-sama @thelesbiancarwash Look how cool this is, this is so damn cool)
Oooh mygod, I can’t believe what I’m seeing! Thank you so much, this is incredible! You’ve really captured Sonicsprite in a way I was never quite able to do myself, you should be drawing this damn comic. Seeing this is a huge incentive to get to work on that animation, you have no idea... If I knew HTML, I’d set this as the banner on my MSPFA page.
There most certainly is not a Discord server; aside from my close friends, you’re the only Supervoid reader I’ve spoken to! Consider yourself a fanbase of one. Which is more than I ever expected, really.
You’re really living up to your name, radicaldude. Thank you for this wonderful fanart, and again, thanks for reading!!

radicaldude42 replied to your post “This… is perhaps a step towards explaining that one part in the Jake...”
This isn't really relevant to Jake or anything, and I'm sure you've already heard of this connection before, but there's also the toppled sacred urn = nanna's ashes, desecrated mystic ruins = the frog temple, and defiled hallowed tombs = jaspers' grave thing.
Yeah... now that it isn’t 1 am, I’m realizing that Homestuck is so overloaded with references to previous adventures its a bit silly to emphasize that one from Jake’s intro. The bit in Openbound is still fascinating, but its seeming misguided to characterize a relation to Problem Sleuth as a uniquely Jake thing. It might be better to relate that scene (ie the wish/suspicion that Problem Sleuth is real) to Jake’s fascination with Avatar, since the movie itself centers around a dude who gets to live in a simulation and marry his waifu? (Tangentially: I’ve recently become very fond of the way the phrase ‘life could be a dream’ can be read with ambiguity, both the prospect of future happiness and the paranoia of present unreality)

possibly something about jake’s adventures in the incipisphere as jade’s grandfather? maybe he’d met the three of them before?
I guess the memory of those Prospitians had to come from somewhere...? And since Jake died without waking up, Meenah and Grandpa are the main options (excluding Mom because I don’t think she visited Prospit). In which case, the situation would become... a memory of 3 Prospitians from a previous life caused Jake to suspect that Problem Sleuth is real? That would certainly seem at home among the Alternia/Beforus comparisons...
...given Jake’s obsession with savagery (x), it’s interesting that characters in this area keep glorifying Alternia’s violence, particularly Cronus relishing the thought of being able to cull Mituna and Karkat shrugging off the likelihood of his own culling for the hope of miraculously becoming a hotshot within the system

Oh, wow! Looks like I have a lot more combing-through to do than I originally thought, then! And augh, there was a small part of me that thought eg timer could have been some wordplay I wasn't getting, so I should have seen that coming. You're welcome for the report! If I notice anything more in my future playthroughs I'll be sure to note it.
Awesome, i’d appreciate it! :D
(PS, if you do end up doing the comb-throughs, let me know if you enter trickster mode? I’m kind of curious how hidden it actually is, now that ctrl-T can’t be a thing.)
So, my bro @radicaldude42 and I recently got into a cool game called Nuclear Throne. The game is sprite-based, so I thought, “Hey, wouldn’t it be cool to practice my sprite art skills by fusing each playable character with another?” And that’s how this approximately 4-day project began. Some parts of the original sprites were changed (such as Rebel's scarf and Horror’s flames) and the original sprites (from the game) are the top row, furthermost left column, and the middle diagonal row.
