theres like a lot of reasons for uhhh why it happened but symptoms are based on how much radiation you absorbed and what it does basically is just kinda [redacts] everything

mental illness / neurodivergent headcanon: HUGE PTSD. Has also anxiety related to it, and tends to dissociate A LOT.

3 random headcanons:

- Lost his parents after the omnium explosion. He remembers them every single day, and tries to remember them the way they were before everything went to hell

- Calls himself an “one man apocalypse”, and this is not a coincidence. It’s not that he bought the “apocalypse” by himself, but he does blame himself and himself only. He used his guilt as an armor, and now, that’s his motto. 

- Regarding the last point, Junkrat once suggested being “a two men apocalypse”. Roadhog laughed it off, but, deep down, he thinks it’s nice to be able to... kinda “share” the guilt, and since he has been with Junkrat, it doesn’t feel as heavy anymore. He is having fun and he loves it

Junkrat:

sexual orientation headcanon: gay GAY GAY only into dudes

gender headcanon: a guy, gender non conforming, tho. Gender is a weird concept for him, but, he goes by male

mental illness / neurodivergent headcanon: is autistic or has ADHD. Or both. A ball of anxiety, also PTSD. Memory problems. BPD. Bipolar disorder (mostly manic, sometimes depressed). This guy is a mess.png

- In solidarity with Roadhog, he doesn’t eat pork, but has to eat meat somehow. Tried to be vegan like Roadhog, but failed, his body couldn’t take it

- Fond of bubbly drinks in general, no matter if they’re alcoholic or not. This may or may not give him stomach issues
