This is a strange place where the people are tan, rich & know how to pool. I am completely out of my element. I don't like the sun as I am currently curled up in the little bit of shade on my chaise lounge. I mean, who wears a jean jacket to the pool? I'm a poor post-finally-out-of-college person, already counting the months before I have to start paying my loans and I prefer to read and tumbl at the pool. However, I am enjoying myself, the room service, the cool breeze and the “charge it to the room” mentality. 

Even the multiple modes of transportation I took to get here were quite enjoyable. Car, train, BART, and plane. I love being in airports and figuring out routes. My flight was delayed and I didn't care. I have time to read Amy Poehler’s “Yes Please” while simultaneously people watching.
