Obviously, some animals will be prohibited, for example, endangered species or animals that it would be inhuman to keep as a pet.

But overall, I think that once at an appropriate age like 16 or something, everyone will be able to choose a pet.

This pet will be given to them for free with necessities to having an animal (food, bowls litter, cage, toys, ect) by the government.

The government will also give you a monthly plan to send you the average amount of money it takes to take care of your animal of choosing.

How will they fund this??? Idk & idc!!
