40: How do they respond to a loose handshake? What goes through their head?

Probably nothing about the handshake honestly! Garnet doesn’t really know much about handshake etiquette to begin with. She’s mostly preoccupied wondering why the person is so sweaty or dry, or if this has been going on too long. If it’s a handshake for a business deal (as in selling one of their photos to a Very Legitimate Publication) they’re probably thinking more about that rather than any other part of this.

41: What phrases, pronunciations, or mannerisms did they pick up from someone / somewhere else?

I think Garnet has definitely picked up some Victoria-isms since they’ve been friends! Those two are finishing each other’s sentences!

43: What do they commonly misinterpret because of their own upbringing / environment / biases? How do they respond when realizing the misunderstanding?

Because of her kind of shit bio parents and her whole thing with Archie and his dad, Garnet has not internalised the idea that people routinely grow up happily with the family they were born with, including into adulthood. Rationally they know that is a thing that happens, but actually Garnet is more like “that sounds fake but okay,,”

“Hold ‘em. No other game like it. You can see part of what your opponent is working with, and then you have to fill in the rest with what you know about them. What do they know about you? What do they know you know about them? You bet more than draw poker, so you can use that to get under their skin. Funny enough, takes some of the luck out of it, adds more strategy. But luck’s still important. 

   Least favorite? As for …actual games, slots. Don’t even bother with those blasted machines. What’s more humiliating than feeding your money right to the house? No. no. Just don’t.
