Heartbreak is like grief, it takes time to heal, but it can also bring people together, Rhaegar a principal dancer at the Royal Ballet company and Lyanna an MMA fighter on the lightweight category. They meet after their friend groups became intertwined because of, Lyanna’s older brother relationship, to the sister of a friend of Rhaegar’s. After their first encounter they become captivated by each other and by something they can only find in each other. Understanding.

As they go through the grief of the end of their relationships together, they became tangled with each other, then came to fear of ruining the friendship, that is challenged when Lya’s cheating ex comes back, wanting to rekindle their relationship. This forces both of them to confront their emotions towards each other. Will they end up together ?

Day 4: MODERN AU

Lyanna lived for those moments when he was sweet. Yes, she was willful and wild on her best day, but Rhaegar seemed to be able to bring out her softer, emotional side. He had a point though, it did not quell her passion and spirit in the sightless, and in those moments when they came together as lovers, she was still the free-spirited maiden who refused to be tame, even for the man who was slowly but certainly laid claim on her heart. “You are not objective, your grace,” Collapsing onto the sheets by his side with a satisfied grin on her face, Lyanna teased him- playfulness still sparkling in her gray hues, despite her shallow breath and tired out body. 

Asher was nervous. After having such a good day, a good previous night, he only hoped this wouldn’t be a disaster. Raine was more than excited to visit the little baby, her aunt and uncle. She was excited that she got to help cook. Rambling almost the entire way there, Asher didn’t have much time to prep Levi for whatever he was about to walk into. When they pulled into the driveway, the little girl practically jumped out of the car and ran for the door. “I think she’s excited to help make dinner.” He leaned over to kiss Levi softly. “By the way, I told my brother you’re only 30 and he just about lost it, and I give Robyn shit all the time for being older than Cole, so honestly, I wish you he best of luck tonight and whatever happens here, I’ll make it up to you when we get home.” He kissed him again, giving him a big smile in hopes to bypass everything he just said, getting out of the car and waiting for him before meeting his daughter at the door.

Robyn was gathering the things for dinner when she heard the tiny knock. “Babe I think they’re here.” She stuffed a folded up piece of cheese in her mouth as she closed the fridge with her hip. “Did he tell you anything about this dude? What do we know about this guy?” Knowing Maggie was safe in her dad’s arms, she went to open the door, gasping at Raine. “Whoa! Look at you little lady!” She picked her up to give her a squeeze, spinning half way to set her in the house. When she looked back up to see Asher and his boyfriend, her jaw dropped a little. “Well damnn Ash. Look a you pulling some serious business. You Brooks boys sure aimed out of your league. Hi! I’m his sister in law Robyn. The best sister.”

*Suspiro* Chicos soy una persona abierta, yo respetare tu opinión mientras no sea errónea o insultante. Sin embargo, no puedo dejar de lamentarme cuando leo como los defensores de Rhaegar dejan en un plano tan bajo a Elia, prácticamente estan demigrando a una persona solo por justificar el amor toxico que quieren tragarse. Me sorprende leer como justifican a un hombre que le causo tanto daño a una mujer inocente por razones sumamente egoístas, Rhaegar era un hombre con un ego bastante grande si creyó que podía manipular una profecia y que está se trataba 100% de él (y no por ejemplo de su hermano menor), no importa cuánto lo repitan r+l no era amor, el amor no te daña y rhaegar daño mucho a lyanna, ella queria ir a casa y estava encerrada sola en una torre y murió. Elia estaba secuestrada y rhaegar no hizo absolutamente NADA para ayudarla (y eso fue solo una de las tantas cosas malas que le hizo), dejando sólo a un guardia para protegerla. Él provocó una guerra que no pudo ganar condenado así a su família, a sus hijos, a su madre y su reino. Y no, él no hubiese sido un buen rey... lo dudas? Solo mira lo que causo siendo príncipe.

Rhaegar no era mas que un tipo con cara bonita, con un egoísmo demaciado grande y un ego descomunal. Esa es la forma en la que yo veo a rhaegar y lo siento si esto te molesta pero como decimos en mi país "No se puede tapar el sol con un dedo".

Justificar o avalar el "amor" (si es que lo hubo) de rhaegar y lyanna te hace entrar en ese conjunto de individuos que se hunden en la toxicidad barata que nos venden la mitificación del amor, no hay que ser un genio para verlo.

No sufras de el síndrome de Harley Quinn, no defiendas lo indefendible.
