Sobered up - stages
Through out February 14th he gave smiles and chocolate to many people, every person he saw. Today, on the evening of February 15th, he had none left for himself. Though he was next to a completely unoccupied bench, he sat on amber colored leaves under an old maple tree. His legs were close to his chest with his arms rested on the top of his knees behind tattered black pants. He has no more money.
And he feels a little regretful of it, guilty, and that was merely one step of his cycle of painful feelings. His blue eyes look cold, foggy and gray with a completely unhidden and very honest sadness. He shivers, but he does nothing to warm himself up, he quietly remains just like this, even as tears began to slip down his face. Only a small part wanted to be alone, choosing Ecruteak city to achieve this; people rarely wander it at night unless they were a tourist looking around or being curious about the occult attractions.
A much larger part of himself was hoping, praying, believing, that if anyone walked by, they would stop and ask him how he's feeling. That karma is real after his deeds of yesterday. bargaining stage
♒ underwater | nate & hugh
Nate never liked to say goodbye to anyone. Those two seemingly innocent words were too heavy on the tongue, too solemn even when said in the most cheerful tone imaginable. There was just no way around it. Light reflected into soft brown eyes as he stared calmly at his reflection in the small lake just on the outskirts of his hometown, hesitant to wander any closer.
But for what? There was no reason for Nate to be so guilty about dropping by his own home, was there?
... No, there was, and he knew it best. Pebbles were kicked around idly to stall time. He suddenly found himself very interested in his shoes, squatting down to dust unnecessarily at the tops of his already clean sneakers. A long sigh escaped his lips as he huddled in on himself, hugging his knees to his chest while burying his face into his arms.
This is goodbye for now.
Those had been the last words he had spoken to his best friend, hadn't they? With a smile, too. Wow, what a jerk move that had been! Hugh must hate his guts by now. The look of confusion and hurt on Hugh's face had been painful to turn away from. After that, the two had slowly drifted apart, contacting one another less and less, and avoiding each other instead -- at least, on Nate's part -- as much as possible.
Regret seeped into every nook and cranny of Nate's heart. Why in the world did he do that? In the end, he didn't even find what he was looking for. Running around in circles was the only thing he had achieved on his so-called extension of a journey...
Frustrated, Nate scratched at his messy hair furiously, making it fluff up and seem even more tousled than before. "Stupid, stupid, stupid!" Blunt fingernails ran down his already scratched up face as he let out a terrible groan, not caring for whoever was around to hear him beating himself up as he paced around the edge of the lake.
"I'm so darn stupid!"
Virbank City seemed rather quiet today…Lottie sat at the edge of a pier, her legs dangling as she stared at the blue expanse of the sea stretched in front of her. She could hear the soft strums of a guitar nearby and it was music to her ears. Music was always something that cheered her up and hearing the small, quiet tune was a perfect addition to the atmosphere. Flyboy was sitting next to her, out of his Pokeball as usual as he took in the sights as well. Slips was out as well and was taking the opportunity to take a small nap in her lap.
She had decided to go to Virbank to take a break from her journey. Her next stop was apparently Opelucid City to get her 7th badge. She was pretty sure her team could handle whatever gym was next but…a little training couldn’t hurt. No need to get cocky anyways. Once they were all rested up they would fly back over to Icirrus City so they could start their way to Opelucid.
“Maybe we should try to get some training in before we head back…” She mused as she carefully stroked Slips’ head so she wouldn’t wake him. Perhaps she could battle someone here…Or she could fight some of the wild Pokemon around. Though the difference in levels probably wouldn’t help her Pokemon much…Maybe someone would walk by that would catch her eye.

The late winter air nipped at the brunette's nose and fingers as she searched the tall grasses and trees. She was on the hunt for something it looked like. or she had lost something of importance by the way she looked panicked .
"come on..... damn it!" She shouted, uprooting grass accidentally .She stared at the clump of green plant in her hand and sighed. She was never going to be able to repopulate Zoruas if one didn't come out!
She knew it was a rare and endagered breed. That's why she wanted one! She wanted to use her breeder status to help Zoruas become unrare and common for people! She dropped the clump down and sighed deeply.
"I need a native to help me...."

Emma never had to travel very far to get to the most busy parts of the city. Since the Looker Bureau was right inside Rouge Plaza, all she had to do was cut through the alley across the way, cross a street and bam! There was North Boulevard. Luckily she knew this place like the back of her hand, and knew she could handle herself if anybody sketchy was lurking in the backstreets.
Since Mimi seemed to have this thing for Lumiose Galettes, they went there everyday. She was pretty close with the lady that ran the cart, and she could get them very cheaply nowadays.
While she was cutting through the alley with Mimi on her shoulder, she chatted with the little Espurr to pass time away. It was unfortunate that someone happened to be passing by where the passage let out, because there she goes! Slamming right into people. Fun. Mimi flinched on her shoulder, but was otherwise in tact.
"Woah, hey, sorry about that."
