Anemia fucking sucks, i've had an infusion before (body just dumped all my blood out), I can't imagine how a transfusion feels. Rest up and know people will want you to heal up! Take your time
the transfusion was ok! my hand got really sore because the vein they had to use was small and blood is relatively big, apparently, but otherwise i was mostly just bored for the many, many hours of sitting there in an uncomfortable hospital bed getting the life pumped back into me. i had some very good nurses and my wife stayed with me the whole time and we mostly just hung out and watched anime.
