On Instagram I tell people I think characters like Vera, Naib, Bloody Queen, and Geisha get too many special skins and I've been accused of internalized misogyny twice.

Sure I was actually mildly excited for the fact that Oletus Manor itself is becoming a CC map, but the image itself to promote this is AI Generated.
There was AI generation in the livestream, so no matter how mushy they were, that doesn't change the fact that NetAss is still a crap company that's only focusing on potential short term profits as all companies are these days because their CEO's are shortsighted greedy nitwits.
Generative AI is one of the worst things to happen in the 21st century.
I'll probably still follow along with the story itself but at a distance now.
The worst feeling is all of the money I spent in recent months before all this.
Nani lost her parents too; is it really so far fetched that she'd also want Lilo to stay because she doesn't want to lose even more of her family? She's dealing with the grief and lonliness too but she's doing her best to keep it together because otherwise she'd lose what's left of her loved ones.

Maybe it's time to step back from Identity V.
Lately it seems like they keep making poor decision after poor decision. For example using AI assets in the current Truth and Inference story, the way they handled COY, once again falling back into their skin distribution habits and how they treat the two main characters...barely anything at all.
I've spent money and truly I'm invested in the lore but I've also noticed the lack of anniversary art and there is no way they're hurting THAT much for money. On the one hand I don't want to because they do put a lot of heart in the game but like I said, lately there seems to be a lack of that and just an overall cheapening of what they've built...

Watching The Amazing Digital Circus episode 8 and just how Cain is reminded me of a recent experience on reddit.
I frequent the site too much, I'll be honest.
I had a user from reddit message me because they had been banned from a particular subreddit. They messaged me because I had been looking for a specific post (IDV b-day letter basically) and asked if I could vouch for them to get unbanned.
The truth of the matter is, the user had been banned because of their actions but refused to actually listen when they were denied their request to be unbanned. The moderators kept laying things out clearly for them; bad behavior on reddit, harassing people, a.k.a the mods, to be unbanned for three months, etc. etc.
My personal experience was I kept telling them "no" and there wasn't much else I could do but they continued to refuse to listen and actually take into account that this was the consequence of their own actions. Finally I just had to block them because no matter how much I said "no" they wouldn't leave me alone.
Yeah, Cain doesn't have the best grasp on what it means to be human, but I can also relate to how utterly frustrated the characters are because no matter how clear they have been about what they want, Cain refused to listen.
There's a lesson here about listening but for now it's a ramble. I think maybe it's how Cain is oblivious that doesn't mean he can't sit and listen either.
Now mind you, I love Lore Olympus and at the same time I'm not saying people can't critique it or that it should've be critiqued. The ending felt rushed...But the argument that the characters look the same is one I really just can't get behind. I really wish we had gotten to know Poseidon more.
For one thing, a simplistic style isn't a bad thing. Another as pointed out in the above piece, most of the main cast are related in some way. They look similar because of genetics. Hecate and Aphrodite I think are the only ones who don't share a relation between Zeus, Hades, Hera, Demeter, Poseidon, and Hestia. Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon are all sons of Chronos.
Altogether, there are quite a few children of the Six Traitors with Zeus being the one to consistently cheat on his wife.
This criticism to me just says you haven't actually read the comic and are following along with what others says. I'm not saying you have to pick it up to read it, but if you did, you'd know that even if each character were the same color, you would still be able to tell them apart due to their personalities showing up in their design. They may look similar but they're each distinct from one another.

I made the hard decision to uninstall IDV. That's really about it.
