Alice couldn’t get away, she had wanted to leave without putting anyone else in danger. But Q would not let her alone, she had no choice to tell him she was leaving, if he wanted to follow he could. Without magic though, it would be dangerous for both of them, especially with what was following her.

But she could not help but appreciate that someone was coming with her, no matter how much she tried to convince him not to come. She was still unsure if he understood how much she had changed, that she was no longer the same Alice that she once was. That even if she did love him, things were so much different for her now, and he was the one that had done something without thinking to seek advice.
