For me there were two possibilities for Shinonome's humanoid appearance, one where she was an elegant woman and the other with a more "masculine" appearance.

I really love that in season 4, Qilby is the only one calling Eliatrope Goddess "mom" instead of more formal "mother" that Yugo, Nora and other eliatropes refer to her as.
Because if you think about this, Qilby is the only one who really remembers her and knows her as a person and a parent, not just a concept from old tales that suddenly is there again.
Qilby knows her as someone who took care of him and his siblings when they were born and raised him while others know her as this distant legendary figure they revere.
