I saw one of your posts about Rage and Hope as aspects, and I think there’s some interesting synergy, or at least a sort of… I’m not sure how to put it, but let me try.
Rage, as said, is an aspect that has the potential to depower with the power of calling out bullshit. I think it would work well with a Mind player in that sense, assisting through an understanding of logic and how to deconstruct faulty logic.
Hope is an aspect that can believe with all its power to make things real. A Heart player, who has an understanding of Sincerity, can help them be truer to their beliefs and not hide as much behind something they aren’t.
Of course, these positives can easily become negatives. But it’s an interesting idea how aspects can both improve and negatively influence eachother depending on how it’s implemented.
Apologies for the length.
Don't apologize, this is really good!!!
I think the kind of synergy that can be explored between players of different aspects is really fun. Bringing up Mind and Heart again, I think they can even make interesting combinations if you reverse them. A Heart player could provide balance to a Rage player's tendency towards cynicism, and a Mind player can, with logic, influence the beliefs of a Hope player and point their boundless belief in the right direction.
Now don't get me wrong, with these effects on each other they could also be absolute poison to each other instead. It really depends on the players themselves, and how much they're willing to learn from each other.
It gets even more complex when you bring classes into it, too, and that's not even getting into Fraymotifs, a woefully underexplored mechanic I think.
