Hi again c: strongest vocals (overall control tone intonation etc) vs weakest n including soloists and inactives. Not necessarily live [cough bc while dancing is hard] C: your answers are always really fun and interesting/insightful (this is why I follow you) ily thank you joe<3333
Um..... Once again, I don't follow enough kpop to really say who has the bext vocals in kpop but i can just for SM. However from the bunch that I know, I would say the ones with the strongest vocals overall are AIlee, JooYi, Kyuhyun, Changmin, Jaejoong, Lyn, Xiah, K. WIll, Hyorin, Taeyeon, Yesung, Ryeowook, Yoseob,  Jokwon, Jonghyun, Chen, Gummy, Navi, Hee Young, and Bom. Personally, I feel like they are considered the best singers in KPOP for a reason because they possess control, technique, intonation, etc. As you can see, a lot of them have been in the industry well over a few years, with the exception of Ailee and Chen. The reason why I put those two up there is: One Ailee, there's obviously no questions asked. She pretty much left everyone speechless with her voice and how much control she has over it. DID you watch KBS Gayo where she sang "Heaven" and "Just Dance"? She suddenly broke into a dance break and soon after belted a note as if she didn't even dance two seconds before. AND Two: Chen CHen chen. You probably think I'm biased which could be partially why, but most of it, from an objective point of view, is the fact Chen can sing. SM knows he can sing, which is why they give him opportunities to sing whenever there's a chance. SBS Gayo 2011, SMTown 2012 concerts, MAMA awards, SBS Gayo, etc. I think the reason why Chen has the upper hand is because he was trained prior to SM. Hell he was going to major in Music for university. I will point out tone is really a preference thing. Some of the ones i mentioned are not always everyone's preference. For example, I couldn't listen to Bom's, Ryeowook's, Jonghyun's, even Chen's voice for a long time because it's too raspy or too high for my liking but no doubt they're amazing singers. Then there's the people who are amazing singers in general, personally a few of my favorites, but they don't have the amount of skills  to really be put in the category of "best" (again in my opinion) such as Daehyun, Taeyang, Daesung, Baekhyun, D.O, Onew, Tiffany, Jessica, Seohyun, Jay (TRax), Luna, Zhoumi, IU, Lee Hi, etc. This is where a lot of lead vocalists and rookie main vocalists fall because for the lead vocalists, they obviously don't have as much flexibility as the main vocalists and for rookie mains, well it's pretty self explanatory. Theyre still new and have room to grow. Pretty sure in a couple of years they'll be up there too. If you want to know my favorite singers out of the bunch: Kyuhyun (obv) Ailee, Lyn, Hee Young, Jaejoong, Joo Yi, D.O, Tiffany, and Taeyang,Again this is all my opinion. Im glad you like reading these ahhaa. They take me forever to write though -__-. but it's okay. It's fun HEHEHÂ
