(28.10.17) 5/100 Days of Productivity
Had some free time today, so decided to sit down and plan out food for the upcoming week! Got topsy turvy when I forgot I do this Sunday, and just kept thinking about tomorrow haha. Super excited for Tuesday night and homemade slow cooker beef stew, yum~ Planning out my meals like this allows me to keep track of my time for studying, plus cooking helps me alleviate stress from exams!

Happy Halloween!!! May your day be blessed with lots of candy and spoopy fun! I had a genetics exam today, so this is my filled out review sheet my super awesome TA made for us. Always use your resources! My ruler made the Punnett Square outlines bleed, but it kinda looks like it’s dripping, which is pretty cool. Our professor gave us extra credit if we came to the exam dressed up, so I wore the only thing I had, which was a maid costume haha. I bought it for cosplay purposes, but it was still a little embarrassing ><
In other news, I have discovered I say “in other news” a lot. I attribute this to Welcome to Night Vale, which I am 2/3 of the way done with by now. It makes the morning and evening commute bearable!
(2.11.17) 10/100 Days of Productivity, Nov 2nd
I have a bioorganic chemistry quiz on PLP enzymes, and the best study method I’ve found for mechanisms is writing it down very nicely once. That way, when you write it over and over and over again you have something really pretty to double check! Plus it serves as a handy review sheet :)
Goal for the month: To not skip a single class. I will admit there are some days when I am very lazy and I just rest in my car in the parking structure. It doesn’t help that I am very much NOT a morning person, and on early class days (MWF) I sometimes keep on sleeping in the car. So this month, I have vowed to steel myself and not *cough* doze off while my brother is driving. Good luck me!

I don’t understand why our inorganic homework sheet is always riddled with typos! On the other hand, it’s inorganic chemistry, which confuses even our TA who grades our homework. Our exam is a week from today, so devoted this day to doing practice problems. I’ll be dreaming of organometallic ligands tonight!
Update on the car: it’s going to get fixed, but our insurance is going to skyrocket :( Having totaled one car already, my parents are just relieved that my lil bro is safe, but really mad at me for setting such a bad example

Because of typo errors on the homework, we got an extension on our inorganic chemistry problem set IV! The professor still made problem set V due a week from now, so I decided to just crank that out... but problem set V still had errors! HO2 (-) is technically a thing, but when the question says to add one proton and all the compounds are simple like H2PO4 (-) it just feels weird!
In other news I’ve been binge listening to Welcome to Night Vale. Cecil made me legit cry on several occasions for all the trouble the town and he had to go through. Currently on episode 72, and torn between wanting to finish and not wanting to ever end!
(25.10.17) 2/100 Days of Productivity
Instead of a bullet journal, I like to have two different planners: one is a cute scheduler I bought in Korea, the other is a lined journal that I use as an “At-A-Glance” since my memory can be a little faulty. I mostly speak Korean with my mother at home, so my schedule always tends to be in Korean. The Russian is me trying to go beyond my class!

(1.11.17) 9/100 Days of Productivity, Nov 1st
Hello November! I’m doing the #novemberstudychallenge, so here’s a monthly spread! I’m trying to practice/expand my Russian so the header titles on the right are November, Goals, Tasks, Wishes, and Rest. The bottom is Quote! Still going to add bits and pieces throughout this week~
In other news, I don’t think the weather got the memo yet. I wish that it would turn chilly, like how fall weather is supposed to be. But Hawaii doesn’t work that way, and so I will keep my sweaters and boots and piping hot soups for a time when it’s not 85+ degrees out. But yea, Thanksgiving is coming up!!! Super pumped up for that, it’s one of my favorite holidays because I LIVE for food :D
