#queue skipper

And now I feel like I don’t really have a purpose. I can still do good if I wish to but it’s not my sole reason for being anymore.

As I said, I have a new little mechanic I want to bring in at this landmark. On some posts, particularly those with questions or similarly obvious interactions in, you may now see a tag on it that says ‘queue skipper’. If you send in an ask that is in direct response to a post that says ‘queue skipper’ on within 24 hours ish of that being posted, I will try and group those new asks together and post replies to them quickly, like it’s all part of one conversation. The ‘smell’ question from the other day was a test run of that so hopefully that’ll make it clear what I mean.

Basically, the ask box has over 150 asks in it right now and I post once a day, so it takes a long time for people to see replies to their asks. And when they’re referencing something that just happened, they still won’t get an answer for months so the context will be lost. I don’t just want to open it up fully though because it’s unfair on the people waiting if I jump them to answer something brand new, so I thought this might work as something of a compromise.
