This is why I keep my thoughts and feelings on vertain people to myself, because all the "proof" I have is "he said, she said" and I've seen way too many times where it turns out to have been taken out of context, is actually way older than implied and whatever bad thing has already been apologized for (and the behavior not repeated), or is just straight up fully manufactured out of thin air and lies.

(*Different people feel differently about their experiences. Some trans people do feel they started as a different gender and then it changed, others feel as if they were never the gender they were assumed to be.)

But. Like. This shift to treat EVERY interaction between adults and minors as inherently predatory on the part of adults is not good.

I mean I know it happens all the time and it's an agonizingly transparent ploy for plugging somebody's content (if you have to plug your content by acting betrayed that somebody wasn't who they never claimed to be then your content deserves to flop lmao), but it never fails to make me ultra annoyed as I slam the block button on the parasites trying to make a mountain out of a molehill so they can suck all the attention out of it for themselves.
