For the WIP ask game, the after midnight series pretty please👀
Yay!! Someone asked about After Midnight! I have so many stories I want to tell in this universe! But the three I'm working on are Covenant, Fidelity, and Taken. They will be published in this order.
Originally Covenant and Fidelity were in the same fic, but it got really long, so I've separated them...
Covenant: A short fic where Q and Bond have to sign some paperwork for MI6's ethics committee.
Fidelity: Alec Trevelyan returns from a long assignment and he is not happy when he meets his new Quartermaster. In this one, Alec's family descends from a long line of werewolves that were engaged in hunting vampires, so he doesn't have a lot of love for them. And Alec can tell that there's something not quite natural about Q... So when he finds out that Bond and Q are together, Alec tries to convince Bond to leave Q. Bond, of course, refuses. It's really more a story about Bond and Alec's friendship than anything else, but this story does reveal a little more about Q's backstory ;)
Taken: Bond gets captured on a mission. Q goes to retrieve him. This story goes a little harder than all of the others, because Q takes absolutely no prisoners on this mission. But the softness returns at the end!
I'll put a little snippet from "Fidelity" under the cut. I hope you enjoy! And thank you so much for the ask <3 I love this series so much and really enjoy any opportunity to talk about it xD

Ahh all of your WIPs sound so intriguing! For the ask game, I would love to hear about “Bloom” and “A Series of Unfortunate Tea Times” if you feel so moved. 👀
Ahh thank you! As you can see none of them have really creative names, because I'm terrible at titles!!
So many people were asking me about "A Series of Unfortunate Tea Times" so I've posted about that one here.
Thanks for asking about "Bloom"! "Bloom" was a story very near and dear to my heart that I started during 007 fest, but never could quite finish. I think it's somewhere around 30k and still unfinished. I wanted to write something very soft, but I think this might be too soft?
Essentially it's another story where Bond is physically and emotionally tired of the job, but he can't quit because he thinks he's not fit to do anything else. And then he happens to meet Q outside of work and discovers that Q has a hobby for botany. And Bond learns that his hands can be for more than just killing.
Here is a snippet under the cut :)
Hi there! I’m so sorry you had a rough December, and hope you’re feeling better! 💜
For the emoji ask, maybe 🦅 and/or 🧠 (headcanon for Q) if you feel so moved?
Hello! Happy New Year! I did have a rough December, but I am feeling a lot better now. I hope you are doing well too!
Thanks for the asks!
🦅 Do you outline fics or fly by the seat of your pants?
I guess it kind of depends on what you mean by "outline". If you mean, do I know everything that will happen (every convo, plot point, etc) then no. But I do think of where I want to start and where I want to end. I also sometimes have ideas for the in-between things: maybe a scene that came to me very early on that I wrote and now have to find a place for (actually, this is a lot of the time...I write a scene and go: I should make a story around this snippet of dialogue, and then I'm cursed to never finish anything ever).
The only fic where I'm doing a little bit more "outlining" is with my After Midnight series, because there is a linear movement to the stories, and I need to publish them in order. So I have things in drafts that are numbered so I know where to put them in the series :)
🧠 Pick a character, and I’ll tell you my favorite headcanon for them. (Q) I'm really bad at these headcanon things… hmmm I really do like the whole idea that Q is into technology and very good about using it/creating it/manipulating it but doesn't really use it at home. Like, he understands how much a risk a smart home can be, so keeps everything pretty analog. Pretty much summing up this tweet, where Q is the tech worker:
