So, remember when I was all "I don't have ANY medical appointments booked 14th - 20th!" well damn apparently my chickens didn't lay enough eggs because that has changed! As has my medication regime, and that always takes a while to adapt to.
All that is to say, I don't think I'm gonna have enough spoons to produce any new content for a bit. So my plan to fill the tag with rainbows is gonna have to wait a bit...
If any of you want to spend the week filling it with rainbows than please do!! It would cheer me up no end to see it ^___^

“Tao, wait-”
Shiira’s eyes water as iron and salt dance along his tongue. His head throbs. Heart aches.
“Out of respect for you as a senior member of the guard and as my partner the last few years,” already halfway across the armory, back facing him and shoulders rigid, Tao doesn’t bother to look at him as he hisses beneath his breath, “I won’t tell anyone of this incident, but-”
“I’m sorry-” the weight of his confession - of his mistake - finally becomes too much for his trembling knees to bear. Rough stone bites through the threadbare knees of his uniform as he sinks to his hands and knees. “I’m so sorry, Tao. I thought you felt the sam-”
“I don’t.” It’s a snarl in the dark. A dog with hackles raised and teeth bared. For good measure - like he aims not just to break Shiira’s heart, but to destroy it entirely - Tao leans slightly to the side, rubs a rough hand across his lips and spits. “And I never will.”
