So I finally did it! I created a Queer ANS blog to promote and celebrate all things Queer in the Snow White With The Red Hair fandom!
What do I mean by queer? Essentially anything that falls under the LGBTQIA+ Umbrella. So any content that deals with themes of:
- Non Heterosexual Orientations such as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Pansexual and Asexual.
- Transgender, Non-Binary, Gender Fluid, Gender Queer, X-Gender and other minority genders. No TERFS allowed. If you see me sharing content from a TERF please let me know and I will block them!
- Aromantic, Queer Platonic, and Polyamorous relationships
- Intersex content is welcome too!
- Essentially nothing that is Heteronormative and Cisnormative! All content on here must be explicitly queer.
"But hey now! What about M/F relationships where no one is Heterosexual?! Just because a boy and a girl are kissing doesn't mean they're not queer!" I hear you cry.
And you are 100% correct! But a lot of content that is M/F is sadly still heteronormative. However! Content that is M/F but still explicitly queer is more than welcome! What do I mean by this? Well, for example:
- Shirayuki helping to care for Obi after his Top Surgery in a Modern AU, or helping him bind his chest in as safe a manner as possible for the canonical time setting!
- Mitsuhide explaining to Kiki that he is a sex repulsed asexual and though he loves her deeply he is not interested in any kind of sexual contact.
- Artwork of Shirayuki and Zen covered in Bisexual Pride Flags and wearing leather jackets whilst doing finger guns and drinking oatmilk lates!
- Izana and Haki working together to organise the first Pride Festival in Clarines as a way of commentaring their wedding anniversary.
- Men 👏 Getting 👏 Pegged
Meta, shitposts, fanart, fanfic, manga screencaps etc. are all welcome!
I'm going to "formally" start this blog on 1st March 2022 and have a big queue already of any queer content I could find on my main. However I'll be trying to do a personal push of creating and sharing new queer content 14th - 20th March 2022. (Why this week? Because it's my first week all year that my disabled arse doesn't have any medical appointments booked!)
I hope that as many people as possible can join in too! Please tag content as "queerans" (all one word so as to avoid Apple Sensorship) so I can find it and reblog it.
Let's paint a rainbow across the tag ^___^
