I made my first video game a lil bit ago called Bay Area Driving Simulator. It's set in the San Francisco Bay Area, not the other Bay Area you were thinking of.

My team was able to put together a demo in time for Aro Jam this month! It's a cozy little potionmaking game, and we plan on continuing to add more gameplay elements in the future. Genuinely can't believe I did the programming for this on my own, especially since I've only been learning to code for a year now.

At 6:30pm central, gonna be doing a dev stream on my youtube channel (while we get the twitch all set up and good) focusing on asset migration! It'll be somewhat edumacational in the hows and whys you might stick twenty asset packs in one game project only to migrate specific ones over to the main one. And also Alice and I will be discussing the game in question: U R N Charge!
U R N Charge is an indie game we're working on where you play as a nanny bot trying to power up various things in a house! But be careful, you only have ten seconds of battery life!

The Game Dev/Design panels at #Arisia were so awesome!! Met & befriended lots of wonderful people there :) A lot of us seem to be into Story Games. Some of us talked about the intersection of neuroatypicality & video games. Personally, I'd love to see games that get the experience of various neurotypes across, in the same way that Pixar's Inside Out @lunacodess: ... got the experience of Depression across. I think it would be a wonderful way to build empathy!
