Hello friends, I'm a queer, regenerative farmer, running a diversifi… Milkweed TT needs your support for Help a Queer Farmer Repair Their M
Hey All,
I know that over the past year, I've been accepting donations for both my home heating system and my regenerative farm. I want to thank everyone who has helped me - it means so much. I have great news on that front: my aunt and uncle recently came into a large sum of money and are helping install a brand-new, two-system heating setup. So that's done! We're good!
Unfortunately, that doesn't mean my problems are over. My father had severe health issues this Summer, which led to a reduction in the farm's income, and now, my 2003 Toyota Corolla has a gas leak. My mechanic is confident he can repair it, but I need some help with the fee. It's estimated at $325.00, due to some unique parts that need to be ordered.
As always, anything helps. Much love,
Milkweed

Where do y’all find community/make connections? I’d love to chat with more folks who are interested in farming/homesteading or are actively partaking in this. I’m pretty green but am hoping to learn with/under similar folks
happy internation zine month!!
this is a start of one i haven't fully fleshed out yet, i'm still newer to zine world (this is maybe my 4th practice mini zine ???) zines are rly fun and i'm excited to go to a zine fest this year <3
I've been so busy this summer with my livestock projects that I barely got to sit back and enjoy life.
But I've come to realize that enjoying life isn't just traveling, star gazing, roadtrips, sleeping in. Enjoying life is being grateful for life and enjoying what you do. Sheep bring me so much joy, and I'm so eternally thankful that I'm able to raise them and sell them. I wouldn't have it any other way. So, while I may be busy with my projects, I also get to enjoy life.

Dinah is very thin lately, long story, but to get her weight back up I have been giving her random forage from around the farm. Their pasture is rather empty of it since the whole herd has eaten it bare.
She loves this plant, whatever it is.
She is super friendly cause she was a bottle baby.
Don’t know how you missed it...
After another round of blocking, I’m really not clear on why folks with “traditional gender roles” or clearly xenophobic blogs keep trying to follow me. You’re missing some pretty key pieces about what we do here.
Farming just isn’t farming without that LGBT lovin’.
