Aelin Galathynius- Queen of Midnight (Book 5), Sarah J Maas

As if I didn't have enough series on my plate already, this series has been on my bookshelf for years now. My aunt got it for me while I was still in highschool and I've just never quite gotten around to reading it, however it sounds really good and I really want to give it a chance! I just finished Queen of Midnight today and gave it 4🌟 rating, the first half was so slow I nearly gave up on it, but wow the second half was just amazingly good and I can see why people rave about the series if that moment keeps building. I also finished the second wheel of time novel (the great hunt) and gave it a 3 🌟 rating. The books are just really slow and hard to get into but it's also got some momentum to it now and I'm hoping the Dragon Reborn is a much better read I haven't worked on my own book much recently but I've got the ideas brewing and I've got 2000 ish words written which although not a lot is more than I've ever written before so there is hope. It will definitely need a couple of revisions though. If I didn't have a full time job I'd probably be spending the day writing. Finished this great series! Well finished the books that are out now.. It will be one agonizing wait for the last one, I'll tell you that.
