Voxels
Inspired by the lovely Stonehearth, my first attempt at pixel (and voxel) art:
...for half an hour after creating this, I kept expecting normal, 2-D UIs to sheer off around a central z-axis as I used them. It's lucky the real world is all 3-dimensional.
Also, hats off to the lovely Qubicle Constructor for not just a great (free!) program, but also for keeping all of the Photoshop shortcuts (B, E, etc) so transitioning from one to the other was absolutely seamless.
