Wait, evil Uma Thurman? I thought she was just evil by default.

Listen, I was unaware that after waiting approximately 532 years for Old Guard 2, we were going to be blessed with Charlize Theron AND Uma Thurman as bitter angry lesbian ass-kicking immortal exes (Shh. They are clearly exes. She was Andy's first ever wife and then they broke up badly and haven't seen each other in a cool five thousand years or so. This is canon to me now and literally nothing will disprove it). But then that gift arrived to us in this terrible terrible year of our lord 2025, and we all sat up and went REALLY? OH PLEASE MAY I HAVE IT? OH PLEASE MAY I HAVE IT? in the voice of Dug from Up.
On a slightly less mindless-sapphic-drooling note of attempted media analysis, I am hoping that this means Quynh is not the bad guy and is just being manipulated and will eventually rejoin the rest of the Immortal Fam, but also. Charlize Theron and Uma Thurman will be kicking each other's asses with a lot of pent up immortal lesbian rage on my personal television on ye olde Netflix in July. Which is somehow and cruelly not here yet. Waiter, fetch me a JUMBO bucket of popcorn and also my bunk.
