ram and kurt became friends in kindergarten, at the same time as everyone else, p much. even as everyone started to grow apart, those two stuck together, and pretty soon they were best friends.

ram first started to hold romantic feelings for kurt when he was 11-12. of course, he denied it even to himself, having grown up with a very homophobic dad. he kind of decided he was just imagining it. it wasn’t until he was 14 and the feelings still hadn’t faded that he admitted his feelings to himself.

key word: himself. he didn’t tell kurt, and he has absolutely no intentions of ever telling kurt. he’s still hoping the feelings will fade (though it’d be a lie to say that part of him wasn’t dreaming of reciprocation).
