When you take #things which are meant to be #SingleUse #items and use it #repeatedly, it's very interesting to see how the #destruction of these #objects resemble objects that have gone through #highly #accelerated #destructive #processes or something. My #father #traveled a lot to #Manila when he was young; he had worked as a #QualityController for a #garment #factory. Each week he would cart back stuff he hoarded from his #hotelroom- bottles of shampoo, conditioner, skin lotion. Toothbrushes, along with their tiny tubes of toothpaste. And of course, #bedroom #slippers. Till this day, I have an entire crate, filled by hundreds of single use bedroom slippers. (at Depot Road)
