Where do you draw inspiration from?

• Personally I can see scenes and movement with my imagination and it always looks so much better as an idea then when i put it on paper (sometimes lol) but i get inspo from other works i see online or if i listen to music or if i want to redraw a scene from a tv show or a movie. I mostly draw my own characters but i love drawing other characters too.

Does a work of art need to be beautiful? Why or why not?

• No, and i believe it depends on the person interpreting the art work. For example someone might find something so simple lame while another person might find it fascinating. Or someone might find a big art piece over the top while others might find it to be just right.

I think the most important skill for an artist to have is knowing what is relevant. People won't look at your art unless it pertains to something they care about. Another important thing is to have skill, if your art is done poorly people don't want to look at it either. Those two things together will help your art be more meaningful.
