Q-dance’s Qontest called upon aspiring musical talent to submit an original track and 30 minute mix showcasing the harder spectrums of dance music and compete for a life-changing prize, the opportunity to play the Q-dance stage at TomorrowWorld in September. After receiving hundreds of mixes Q-dance, picked one winner for the Qontest: Sylence from New York. Sylence will play the Q-dance stage at TomorrowWorld on September 28 and will host a special edition of ‘Q-dance Presents…’ on iHeart Radio’s Evolution on September 14. There is a bright future for the harder sounds in North America! “As with any Qontest there can only be one winner. Sylence stood out because of his producing techniques and fresh melodic Hardstyle sound. He has already created a signature sound for his brand; long-lasting keynotes in his melodies, cracking yet clean kicks, edits to keep the tracks exciting and lots of emotion in his tracks,” concluded van Soomeren. “From the second I saw the announcement for the "Q-dance Qontest", I immediately pictured myself on stage in front of thousands of people,” said Sylence. “This was the moment that I had been waiting for. When I finished reading the requirements I immediately opened up a new project and began working on my track "One Chance".
