i like to think chance, a very lonely individual, relies on something. while their story is getting rewritten, i think it’s a crucial part that leads into bad habits like gambling and the idea of being “lucky”, even in dangerous circumstances. so i have an idea of this sorta “religious” need to reason their luck…a roblox god

chance *wants* to believe something. chance wants some type of reason to conceptualize the emptiness of feeling high adrenaline. that’s why i came up with this funny idea. though, ofc i didn’t want it to be unhealthy obsession or reliance. so it’s moreso of a lil’ crush idea that chance has on this telamon god in their dreams. idk if that makes sense

chance doesn’t know that shedletsky is that retired god HAHAHA though, chance ignites the sorta bad habits shedletsky used to give into. i didn’t post it here yet but i did draw shedletsky visiting chance’s casino and having lots of fun! they give off such bro energy and it’s very relaxed. ofc shedletsky is much more reformed compared to the past therefore trying to encourage good for chance… heh. love blooms

heya!! ofc i recognize u in my comment section! and i *have* looked thru ur blog. thank you for reminding me to follow u btw.

personally, i think ALL sketching ways are great! they are very personable and they showcase our most "loose" artistic moments. the crazy part abt sketching is they are UNIQUE! so i can't tell you what you can improve on...bcuz ur sketches are very fun! in presentation, they are much more neater, have a much more finished look without the polish, and maybe even particular in placement but i like that.

what i can share though is my personal way of sketching that maybe can inspire you to try different methods that can fit in within ur way of art!

i'd like to say my sketch works are sporadic and even messy at times. nowadays, i mostly do this type of work because i simply do not have time to fully conceptualize an idea. though, i still want to draw. so, i'll just sketch out what i *feel* in the moment and sometimes it turns dynamic! sometimes, it turns into a short comic story! it's nothing that i'm allowed to complain about even though i still do.

watching my own sketching rlly makes me realize how i trust the process and also trust erasure. i like to "build" up my sketches. this is what makes my process feel the most neat because most of the time, i'm taking my time focusing on parts i want to focus on and if i'm bored, i'll just move on to the next. i'll seemingly have a general idea of a shape and then i'll shape it out. maybe sculpting is a better word. i REALLY like to erase. i will never ever forget coming across the advice of, "don't be afraid to erase". it's truly life-changing on my end!
