But at the time, I wanted JGY to have someone willing to call him out on his bullshit like NMJ, but who would also empathize worh his reasoning, like LXC. Who better than the smart-mouthed street girl who pretended to be blind so she could rob people to survive?

Plus, AQ is said to be very clever, which would make her a good intellectual match for JGY. Unlike NMj and LXC, she doesn’t let her ideals cloud her empathy or judgment. As a result, JGY might find it hard to deceive her, and yet she wouldn’t look down on him for his morally questionable choices. She’s probably the sort who would just encourage him to do better. Basically, she’d be a safe person to be honest with.

Additionally, she has similar low origins to JGY, but unlike JGY, they’re not an insecurity of hers. She wouldn’t hesitate to smack someone for taking down to her or JGY for it.

Honestly, AQ is a breath of fresh air and JGY, JC, and more would do well to have her in their lives.
