His feelings? His emotions? Certainly his confusion over them. As Mycroft says- locking Sherlock up alone is locking him up with his own worst enemy. His Moriarty's are internal. Locking someone up with their feelings wouldn't be awful for most, but it is for Sherlock. And 'in the end it's just you and me' But it's not. Because John is there.
