Pyxsi, head of a krewe that works with prostheses and alternative medical solutions for asura with physical deformities or other physical limitations. A top graduate of Synergetics, she was (and still is) best friends with Rissia, one of the four commanders in Tyria-432.
Born without her left arm, she was orphaned when she was very young, being taken in by her great aunt - Councilor Haia - who was very mindful in her training of Pyxsi's considerable talent as a mesmer.
And on turning Pyxsi into the "perfect" successor.
In college, Pyxsi figured out how to use her magic to create a magical construct prosthesis for her left arm. At the same time, she was starting to uncover a lot of fishy things about her great aunt that began to tickle a suspicion: the suspicion that her parents and grandparents did not die under normal circumstances.
She and her great aunt are at present not on speaking terms. Haia knows her grandniece has figured out the truth, but having her killed would raise even more suspicion. Pyxsi knows the truth of what happened to her parents and grandparents, but she doesn't have enough proof to get any accusations or charges to stick. As a result, they're in a sort of stalemate, on very cold terms.
Much like her great aunt, Pyxsi is brilliant, cunning, and has an uncanny ability to ferret out information that could be beneficial to her. She's working to figure out who she is past her great aunt's strict upbringing, but that's harder than she thought.
