In true dream fashion the characters got muddled around with myself – sometimes I was watching from a distance, sometimes I swapped into either one’s role as myself, but I kept it all straightforward here. I do know that at the end, it was me running to the window to get help (the drawing doesn’t do justice just how warm and peaceful and safe the church/castle interior looked). Sometimes in dreams you try to yell and you just can’t, but what stood out about this dream is I got some really solid, top-of-my-lungs shouts in there. The fact that it was supposed to be Lukas, known for remaining fairly calm and quiet, felt meaningful even as I woke up.
