Lucky knew when people were upset. It was kinda his thing. Usually he’ll bring over a slipper to offer or his favourite chewing bear, but today he was offering something special; cuddles. He saw Wanda upset and trotted over where his head rested on her lap, his eye looking up as if to ask permission to cuddle.
Wanda had been sat on the armchair, crying silently to herself, for god knows how long. She looked up when she felt the dog’s head on her lap. She smiled sadly and pet his ears and head. After a few moments, she sniffed and pat the space beside her in case Lucky wanted to come up and join her.

Clint Barton was being a complete punk. He’d just gotten home from a long night of Avenger-ing and the adrenaline was pumping strong in his veins. Sleep? There was no such thing as sleep, not when he had SO much energy to burn off. Upon arriving home, despite the cuts and bruises, Clint had set his recurve bow aside and gone looking for Lucky. Clint could slap on some band-aids later, but for now he just wanted to pester his mutt.
