Singapore (Flying S-O-L-O)
First entry after sooo long: Forgive me for this happened like a year or two ago, haha! I know this is not a travel blog or whatsoever but it just so happened that it was my first legit travel out of the Philippines that is not work related. Anyways, here goes nothing.. :)
It was sort of spur of the moment decision to travel to Singapore and it was easier as well to decide where to go to for my few-days-holiday-from-work. One is because my aunts are working / residing there as well as my friend who just got married that time and decided to move there as well, and of course it’s Singapore!
No plans, no itinerary, no idea what will be going to happen once I’m there, so just go and booked a ticket and just contact my love ones, once I’m there for their assistance. :)
Arrived safe and sound (left Qatar – ehem! where I’m currently residing by the way, around 11:00 PM and arrived at SG around 3:00 PM the next day - time difference and around 9 hours travel time).
- Yep! When in SG! :)
- This was taken right after I arrived at SG (excited much!)
- With Vess! :)
So there goes my first day, right after I arrived, I was able to spend it with my friend who picked me up from the airport. Then my aunt picked me up from mrt station where I’m going to stay for the rest of my stay in SG. I stayed with my aunt at Sembawang and the place is so forrest-ish kind of atmosphere, I really loved it there.
Second day spent at Sentosa (of course) FUN! FUN! FUN!
Third day: Rest day!! (I know it’s kind of sad but who wouldn’t want a good rest – jet lag). We just went to the grocery and to a park near Sembawang, still fun though. :)
Fourth and last day in SG: spent the day with my aunt at Botanical Garden / National Orchid Garden.
All I can say with the whole trip was that it was fun and liberating in a way that it was my first time to travel without expectations (a bit nervous) and it was all pleasure-not-work-related-solo kind of travel (all by myself – got used to it) and I’m so thankful with the whole experience.
See, not a travel blog, just a travel post, haha! (just pure fun travel). :)
‘Til next!!
