Was her Aunt Dot secretly involved with a famous wood carver? An unscrupulous estate dealer tricks her into selling the decoy duck to him for a pittance and her ex-boyfriend and her childhood best friend help her try to recover it. I enjoyed Laurie’s independence and her learning to balance it with relationships.
