Something as simple as a haircut is sometimes nearly impossible unless you have a mobile barbers (which I’m currently sussing) or someone to give you a lift - in steps mama; just to get a nice haircut to make you feel a little more human than normal . Author @lindaholmes97’s #flyingsolo is a light, fun read set in Maine. As Laurie tries to clean out her great Aunt Dot’s estate, she finds a mystery in the form of a wood duck decoy. Was her Aunt Dot secretly involved with a famous wood carver? An unscrupulous estate dealer tricks her into selling the decoy duck to him for a pittance and her ex-boyfriend and her childhood best friend help her try to recover it. I enjoyed Laurie’s independence and her learning to balance it with relationships.
